Ransom’s 2009 holiday collection enjoys the release of three marquee items. Leading the way is a varsity jacket featuring a Melton wool body and bone-colored calfskin leather. A collaborative Pendleton flannel features custom tailoring by Ransom as the capsule is rounded out by a drop-crotch ribbed sweat pant made of Japanese fleece. The collection is available now at the Ransom flagship store in Toronto.

Fashonisto covers the Spring 2010 offering from Italy’s Closed. “Italian label Closed, most known for their focus on denim, sticks to their roots for the upcoming season, but makes a splash with the jumpsuit. Cut from both khaki and denim, the jumpsuit comes across surprisingly well with the pairing of a low-key blazer. Rounding out the range, jackets and tops are broken down, often with a weathered wash that lends itself to a modest yet stylish season.”

For their first collaborative effort, Property Of… work with fellow Oregonians, Pendleton on a collection of men’s bags and accessories. Each bag is indeed made from 100% Pendleton wool and retails around 250$US. The bags are available at select Bloomingdales locations including Boston and NYC, as well as online.

Made from 100% wool, the Short Brim Fedora is amongst the latest releases from Crooks & Castles. Opting for slightly smarter aesthetic than usual, the hat retains a playful edge. Available in either black or chocolate-brown, the hat also sports a satin ribbon around the brim, complete with a detachable button that reads “It’s Gonna be Good”. Primitive [Holiday 2009]

Primitive unveil its first lookbook, presenting the retailer/brand’s new season for Holiday 2009. The collection consists of mostly graphic tees, fleece, and beanies along with their usually unmatched New Era designs, featuring simple two-tone color scheme and a blend of top textiles. Paul Rodriquez is featured throughout the lookbook along with friends and co-owners Andy Netkin, Jubal Jones, and Jay Partow. The lineup is now available through Primitive in Encino while a behind-the-scenes video can be seen below.

Opening Ceremony [2010]
This season marked the first collection involving American retailer/brand Opening Ceremony and one of America’s oldest mills, Pendleton. Moving forward, the two will reconvene once again for the 2010 spring/summer collection with a preview of the collection in a behind the scenes look at the photoshoot. Look for the collection to hit sometime in the next few months.
