Stanley Donwood x Oakley

Oakley’s latest artist series sources the United Kingdom’s Stanley Donwood to instill his creativity on a pair of Jupiter sunglasses. Known as one of Britain’s notable contemporary artists, his influence and visibility has extended across many parts of Europe and Tokyo. The sunglasses feature an abstract motif that includes both a cloth case and hard case. The Stanley Donwood x Oakley Jupiter is available now at Oakley with a retail price of $225 USD.

Lancier [by Dita]

Premier eyewear company Dita offers us a look into its latest project, Lancier by Dita, featuring a selection of the brand’s most prestigious creations. Featured is the LS.001 model in a bone and matte black carbon finish. The sunglasses boast a co-injected zyl acetate frame front with injected rubber in the nose and brow bar for added comfort and fit. Other highlights include Interchangable quick release temples constructed from high-grade titanium for a strong, light weight temple that won’t corrode, while each lens has been marked with a LAND, SEA or AIR symbol which designates its intended use. A unique serial number to ensure authenticity accompanies each release as well, with only 450 pairs being introduced throughout 35 hand-picked accounts worldwide. Mosley Tribes [Spring 2010]

Having partnered with various streetwear entities earlier this year, we move forward and preview some of Mosley Tribes’ 2010 spring Resort collection. The eyewear models include the Patterson, Chambers, Hillyard and Becker, which could be best described as modern updates to classical shapes and styles. Each style is further broken down into a handful of different color configurations.

Liberty & Co. x SUPER

A brand that has made interesting in-roads as of late thanks to collaborations on a street level including footwear with Nike Sportswear, Britain’s Liberty & co and their well-known floral patterns and prints make the jump to eyewear form. Seen in three different patterns, the eyewear is available exclusively at the Liberty & Co. flagship store.

'Ride the Lightning'

Paul Rodriguez’s shop, Primitive in Encino has teamed up with Oakley to put out a limited edition pair of Frogskins. They were inspired by Metallica’s 1984 Ride the Lightning album cover, and feature a gradient colourway, fading from black to purple, to midnight blue, and eventually a clear finish. They come with a silk-screened bag, and two sets of arms, each branded with Primitive’s P logo. A matching tee was also designed for the release. The sunglasses are limited to 70, of which 50 will be made available tomorrow at 5pm in-store. The remaining 20 will go on sale through Primitive’s online shop the following day at noon PST.

Super 'Flat Black' Sunglasses

Grenade x Oakley Frogskins

We previewed the Oakley x Grenade Frogskins that are coming out this fall a little while ago. Now we give you a look at the whole kit. With custom hard and soft cases and a GrenadeArmy dog tag, along with that ill laser etch logo on the lens, these are gonna be the hot ticket Froggies for sure. We should have a release date soon.

Saber Fall 2009 | "The Dude"

Sabre introduces a pair of limited edition of some of its more popular models. One being "the Dude", 4 color ways: `Floreal': two with floreale reason and two - viceversa - outside. These and other models of Fall/Winter `09 the collection of Sabre, will be available in the next few months between retailers of the brand.
